- The average person spends over 6 hours a day in front of a computer, at work or at home.
The most common problems that could affect this piece of equipment which we so rely on.
- Hardware failure.
- Software installations which go wrong, usually attributed to user errors by most.
- Very bad advice by some really bad IT people!!
- VIRUS, most people are so sure that their Anti-Virus is secure and safe... Little do they know that a lot of Anti-Viruses
on the market are average and do not protect you the way they should or at least the way you expect.
In conclusion
Computing forms a great part of our lives, so it is important that our systems are running properly. Unfortunately most systems,
are in fact in trouble, this is mainly due to viruses, the dreaded spyware, lack of updates and maintance.
Users have turned to alternative OS's such as Linux and Macintosh.
Microsoft Windows is good and works well, but only if it has been configured and protected correctly.
Linux seems too be popular, I personally believe that's owing to it being open source.
Apple have really come a long way, and seem to be years ahead of the rest in terms of OS's, technology, and ideas. It is secure, extremely stable and easy to use.
